Our Logo Needs an Update and You Can Help!

"Grinder", affectionately named by our drummer's daughter, is our mascot. A rather rough drawing of a skull with devil horns, Grinder has been by our side for almost 10 years. We don't want to get rid of him, he just needs updated. That is where you come in, we're asking anyone with the skill and desire to redesign our beloved "Grinder" logo and the 'Hillbilly Deathride' font we've been using with our name for so long.  We'll choose a winner and you'll be credited on our website, any official releases with the new logo, and you might even get some kind of cool prize.  Read on for the rules ...

2013 - Hillbilly Deathride

So, 2013 is over and it has been really good to us.  We did a lot of cool shit.  Our new friend Greg Jordan and our old friend Joe Brown were brought into the band.  We released our old record 'Cremation of Care' for free on July 4th on Reverbnation. We hit the #1 spot on the Reverbnation charts for 'Metal' in WV for quite a while after the release of the record.  We played Skatopia - if you haven't been there or seen that shit, I suggest you check it out - immediately.  (www.skatopia.org)  Someone paid me $100 for my Hillbilly Deathride shirt I was wearing during a show (since we didn't have any for sale, and we were all drunk). We shared the stage with some awesome bands.  We made some friends, probably some enemies, but most of all, we had a shit-ton of fun doing it.

We've already started writing new tunes and plan to hit things really fucking hard in 2014.  See you soon!
